Yeah, Kościuszko was a cool dude, He and I share similar views on Church in Poland
Jakub Wędrowycz
The most based and underrated Pole in our recent history is Ignacy Jan Paderewski. It’s a shame he hasn’t the same or at least similar status today as Józef Piłsudski.
Edmund Roman Orlik, Polish tank ace.
because I watched a YouTube video about him the other day
There’s a lot to add here, but I’m always going for a guy that’s a bit lost in history but he had such an interesting life and went through a lot.
Btw I’m always astonished by the fact that Poland’s history is filled to the brim with based characters and quirky episodes like this
Józef Beck…

im joking, Tadeusz Kościuszko really is one of the greatest Poles to live!
Witold Pilecki for me
It’s pretty sad that during BLM movement they vandalized Kościuszko’s monument, becouse having his last wish being „Use my money to buy as many slaves as possible and set them free with money for education” is racist
Also regarding the question: Stefan Batory, Russia’s nightmare
Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz, urodzony w Chrząszczyżewoszycach powiat Łękołody.
Not based in Poland, but any Pilot who flew from the UK during WWII. Squadrons 300 – 301 Bomber Command and 302 – 303 Fighter Command.

I’d go with some niche one, cuz why not. Ludwik Hirszfeld. Born in 1884 in Warsaw. Made huge discoveries in genetics of blood groups but he also discovered the Rh group and the cause of hemolytic disease of the newborn, thus saving MAAAAAAAAAAAANY lives.
Also, in ’39 during defense of Warsaw he organized blood transfusion unit
Zdzisław Beksiński, my timeless inspiration
Zawisza Czarny. Literal legend among knights played crucial role in battle of grunwald, attended many tournaments and won most of them ,as child saved his fencing masyer from brigands , so good of a knight other kings hired him , such a legend when he was fighting his last battle while delaying turks he was their raid boss
Józef Teodor Konrad Korzeniowski (aka Joseph Conrad)
Didn’t speak English fluently until his twenties, yet still managed to become considered one of the best writers in the English language.
Wrote “Heart of Darkness” which the film Apocalypse Now is based off of.
