Today I realized that our permanent shopping list item’s unit price at Migros has increased to 1,95 CHF. Is it too soon to say good old days when Gurke in Migros was 1 CHF? How someone can justify 95% price increase anyway? That’s not the only one, apparently price of sugar increased 17%, butter 12.2% and milk, cheese and eggs by 8.5% compared to the same months last year.

I drive to lidl every week. Saves me 100-150 a week for a family of 4. So this saves me the car cost.
Having said that, i paid 1.79 for a gurke this weekend. So they are likely just expensive these days.
Why are they so expensive anyway? I remember buying one for 19 cents in Germany. Bio was 1€.
Just planted some – don’t know whether they’ll grow at all considering the weather lately…
