I agreed with the author’s overall concern but my issue was really about the bedsheets getting wrecked.

I am more proud than ever of my decision not to react to that “article.”
I called it at first reading it, it just read…. weird, like someone being a swot in school trying to get full marks in an answer. I predicted it was an experiment by the Times into AI journalism, where they produced a random AI article, watched the feedback it created, then in a week or two the “real” article would be “we tested AI’s possible future role in journalism and here is what we found”
Now I’m suspicious of all their content! A recent article they published about Irish Men standing out on a beach looks very suspect.
