How did the ancient Croats drive under the water?

  1. Well, you put it in the first gear, let off the brake, and then you start letting off the clutch while giving it a little bit of throttle, when it starts moving hold the clutch just a bit and then release all the way.

  6. I have read through a few comments and mostly seem to be not too serious.. so just to mention this, given the the small chance that this might not be a joke, at that time there was not water there. The water levels have been rising since a long time on this side of the Adriatic sea, so the road might have been near the sea, when it was built, like a lot of roads are now, if you travel to Dalmatia, but after the sea level rose in that part in the 7000 years (or the surface sank.. I do not know what is happening) the water rose above the road.

I might be wrong but this is how I imagine it. Even though I suspect this question to be more on the joke side.
