    Ik vraag me af welk algoritme men zou gebruiken om een reizer te onderscheiden van een extra huishouden.

  2. So I will be canceling Netflix and roaming the high seas from this moment onwards. I have a home abroad and if I can’t watch Netflix when I am there, multiple months in a year what is the point.

    Still a loyal Prime and Disney+ customer. So screw yourself Netflix.

    Dit is trouwens absolute flauwekul. Ik heb al een Premium abonnement, die ondersteunt 4 simultane streams. Dus ik betaal daar al voor. Dit is gewoon 2 keer langs de kassa passeren.

  12. Dus je hebt al een abonnement volledig gemarket op “aantal schermen die tegelijk kunnen kijken”. En dan gaan ze nog eens dit lappen?

    De seconde dat 1 van men familieleden zegt dat ze niet meer op netflix raken, cancel ik direct. En vorder ik nog eens de laatste domicilering terug voor hun contractbreuk ook.

    Verder mogen ze toch niet die data bijhouden wie waar zit en wat frequente devices zijn? Onder GDPR mag enkel data bijgehouden worden die nodig is voor dienstverlening, alle extra data moet explicitiet toegestemd worden.

    Netflix die zelf arbitrair extra regels maakt is geen reden om die data bij te houden.

  14. Like others I have no problem dropping Netflix, my family do not conform to Netflix définition of a household. I find their définition insulting and demeaning. I pay for my kids to watch Netflix on their screens at my place, they also go to their mothers and the grandparents. No way in hell am I paying 8€ I believe it is extra per kid per month! I have apple TV and Disney so don’t need this crap.
    If you are going to go the way of the pirate, be careful. I don’t condone it all but remember to use a vpn, blacklists and encrypted traffic and a good AV….

Cancelled series without proper ending, content being moved to different streaming platforms, shitty story lines (e.g. The Witcher) needless to downright shameful blackwashing (e.g. that Cleopatra ‘documentary’), the apparent need for non-binary relationships in every series, and now this pricing policy.

    Farewell Netflix, I’ll remember you for what you once were, not what you have become.

  20. Al die bedrijven cancelen zichzelf. Vroeger was er enkel Netflix en voor €10 per maand had je toegang tot redelijk veel content maar zoals in het pc gamen willen al die bedrijven hun eigen platform met als gevolg dat de meerendeel niet beschikbaar is op 1 platform en mensen terug naar de piraterij gaan. Tv vond ik enkele jaren terug al duur streaming zou een mooi alternatief geweest zijn maar nu zijn al die diensten samen duurder dan een TV abbonement…

  25. I have no problem with cancelling Netflix. What are they thinking? Anyone with a piece of working brain can say this is going to lose them money. Anyway, I read ‘disney+ ftw’ here multiple times but I cancelled them a few months ago as they don’t have much to offer imo, and barely any newer stuff, sometimes it would take weeks for something new to show up. And prime… Don’t get me started on that crap, lol.

  28. Okey guys, follow my instruction and you’ll never need any other streaming service ever (except if you want to watch Belgian series/movies):

    1. Acquire a decent VPN, which will be cheaper than paying for multiple streaming services
    2. Download and install Stremio (a legal app, available on all platforms)
    3. Install some of the following ‘community add-ons’ available within Stremio through the settings: Juan Carlos, Torrentio, YTS,… with the click of a button
    4. Stream whatever serie or movie you want without limitations, for free
    5. Thank me later

  31. Already cancelled anyways. The moment I heard the 17.99 price bump, that was it.

    For reference, I was a paying sub when the super premium price cost 11.99.

    I watch much less as well. Pirates will live on! And long.

  32. Already cancelled a while back… no good value for money in terms of quality content.
    Now can you bring max? That and Apple TV+ is all I really need atm.

    So apparently my kids can still use Netflix regardless of where they are??!! This contradicts what I was lead to believe about Netflix only working on the payers WiFi name…
    I’m confused now.
    Regardless, if it in any way blocks or harasses me or my kids I’m voting with my money. I’m sick of all this messing aboutand my patienceis runningthin with netflix these days..

  38. Couple of questions that I’ve now come across where I don’t know the answer for:

    – What if you have a dynamic IP configured, does that change anything?

    – How would something like NordVPN work if you have Netflix etc on your TV? (Lg TV)

    – Amazon Prime Video ,the pricing is not very clear to me, I see 2,99/ month but I also see 15/ month.

  39. They basically doubled the cost for extra users on average merely cause they don’t live in the same location. I remember netflix when I needed a VPN to get it, 5.5 euros on average per month.. how low they have fallen. Back then I advertised this service to all those who would hear it, but now.. I guess I will need to ‘find’ content online somewhere like I used to before a reasonably priced service like Netflix became a thing. They lived long enough to become a vilain.

  45. Does anyone know a good datacenter in Belgium that does colocation for personal use? Looks like my Jellyfin server is going to be running overtime.
