Paul Clark: Former MP jailed over child abuse images

  1. ‘revealed imagery of children as young as three’ The depths of depravity of some people…enjoy your ‘one year best behaviour’ Hope every single one of those 365 days are hell.

  2. He looks like a nonce and pleased he got caught. Those who buy and distribute this material are responsible for re-victimising the children. One more found

  3. People need to stop with the whole “he looks like a nonce” shit.

He’s a nonce because he has a psychological fuck-up in his development/sexuality and, despite knowing it is wrong, he ACTED upon it. It is the act that’s wrong (no sane person on earth would ever want to be sexually attracted to children, but if you are, get help – don’t act on it)! There is no LOOK of a nonce. That does not exist and those perpetuating that are the sort of cretins who single out people who look a bit different and isolate them as “weirdos” for simply not lucking out in the looks department. Like how fucked up is that?!

  4. > officers recovered more than 1,400 indecent images of children

Not to take away or downplay the horror and nastiness of his crimes and depravity, but I remember reading somewhere once that, with those kinds of cases, when police discover video material with illegal content (not only child abuse, mind, but also other things that are against the law to create/possess), they essentially count every frame of a video as a separate image – which is why you’ll often see something insane being reported like 100,000 images having been discovered, or some such, when it’s really 72 minutes of video with 24 fps, so easily something you could fit on a single VHS tape back in the day.

Not that it’s any less terrible, it’s still awful and absolutely disgusting, but what I mean is that 1h video doesn’t sound as dramatic across and conjure images of something as huge in volume as a stash of 100K separate images/photograps – which sounds absolutely insane, compared to a one hour video (or multiple videos totalling that length). But I have no clue if LEAs still and prosecutors still do this or not.

  5. >At Maidstone Crown Court, the 66-year-old was sentenced to two years and four months in prison.

Our justice system is a joke. Not only did he possess the images, he actually produced the content and shared it with others. At 66 the nonce should be locked up long enough to die in prison, maybe he still will if other inmates hear why he’s in and recognise him.

Meanwhile, they are happy to lock someone up for 5+ years (up to 14 years) for growing and selling cannabis to consenting adults, all while more and more countries around the world legalise/decriminalise it and the government themselves let corporations grow it to export as medicine.

  6. My grandfather was jailed for 2 years for historic CSA of me between 3-9. He plead guilty and received a similar pathetic sentence due to his “old age” (88).

Sentencing length is beyond offensive to survivors of rape and sexual abuse, along with lack of mental help afterwards and no compensation (as I didn’t report it as soon as I turned 18 years old not entitled to any compensation even tho he plead guilty, there was physical evidence such as CSA photographs and pornographic poetry written of me)

I’m 42 now he is now dead and I’m still fighting with my GP to receive any kind of mental help support. I’ve clearly got cPTSD and it’s absolutely ruined my life

Also yes he does look like a nonce
