My L-plate had solidified and broke up into a million pieces that I had to chip off. So I put my N-plate over it and forgot. Then that did the same thing!
I was left with that glue-residue – and every 3rd time I got into my car for the next 2 years it would catch my eye and I’d think to myself “I must get something to remove that”.
But I never did. My window still had glue all over it when I scrapped the thing last year lol.
Well done. Also on an unrelated note. I need a lift to the shops b

Congrats!! I too passed 2 weeks back and it’s such a relief. I had my test in the driving school’s car, so didn’t have this moment of celebration ahaha
I’ll never understand how as an American with a drivers license in my country, I can just rent a car anywhere in the world and be sent out on the road. I don’t know how to drive in Ireland but did they rent me a car? Sure did. (We did fine)

Then he started going through whatever mistakes I made.
I did not give a shit what he had to say. In one ear, and out the other. I’d feckin passed. After 4 goes.
