Priti Patel: Tory leadership errors cost us dearly in local elections

  1. Delusional. Sunak at least mostly manages to be invisible and boring. Can you imagine if Boris was still PM, the damage the loan scandal would be doing to them?

  2. There is no critical thinking in the Tory party. They have been shown to be corrupt, and self serving. The public has had enough and that was shown in the local elections.

But instead of thinking what does the public want, they are going on a blame-storming rampage.

  3. Tories keep accusing other Tories for their failure. They don’t realise that none of them can solve the country’s problems. Because the conservatives *are* the problem.

  4. I’m ashamed our country got so close to fascism by tolerating her awful rhetoric and policies.

Im sure her ideas of ‘errors’ are going to be them not being as cruel as she would have liked.

  5. She was a minster for 8 years yet seems to have forgotten her contribution to the cluster fuck that is this government’s legacy

  6. No, darling. Being incompetent, nasty cockwombles cost you dearly.

The problem is in the mirror, and in the chair you used to occupy in the Cabinet, and in most of the rest of the Cabinet too,.

  7. Here they blow again, tax cuts and that’s it folks!

As our NHS and public sector rapidly decline, all these insufferable bastards want to do is inflict further damage. Just so that the rich can get richer.

    Absolutely fucking obscene.

  8. This sort of rhetoric and infighting talk sounds very much like yet another leadership contest could be brewing. More undercurrents of dissent within the party that is slowly, but surely tearing itself apart either through it’s actions or even it’s inactions.

  9. I think the Tories will be wiped out in the next elections. Then they will have to reinvent themselves from this Brexit party right wing bastards they have become to be relevant.

  10. I love a good round of Tory infighting. Aside from the fact that it partially led to the Liz Truss debacle, there are practically no downsides! It’s fun to watch, it weakens them in the polls and it distracts them from enacting horrible right wing policies.

  11. Not a fan of Sunak, or any Tory for that matter, however Truss and Kwarteng really set Sunak up for failure, as did Johnson before him. Patel was firmly in both of those camps at the time too. Patel just has a grudge against Sunak because he never gave her a Cabinet position like she clearly wanted, so now she is on the attack after a poor election result. She is smart enough to know that any Tory PM would have struggled right now, after a succession of increasingly woeful PMs fucked the country up one after another. She is just trying to get attention for when she inevitably runs for Tory leader after Sunak crashes out at the next election.

  12. I think it’s more to do with the fact that the Tory politicians are utter cretins. They are liars, cheats, thieves, etc. The sooner they are run out of power then the better the country will be. They are a terrible stain on humanity.

  13. I’d say she should be worried about losing her seat in the next general election, but Keir Starmer has a really bad habit of unloading full mags of 50. cal bullets into his foot.
