  1. Yep, they will be picking at every freedom we have coming up. UK sad little secret is you are free……..to do as your expected to do and what your told.

  2. *The bill would outlaw campaigns, including those relating to the purchase of goods and services or investments.*
    ****

It’s basically saying that public protest is not to be allowed. So a peaceful media campaign against an unethical company would be illegal.

  4. Have they conveniently forgotten South Africa?

Boycotts weren’t the only solution, but were effective to some extent in helping keeping Apartheid in the news.

This really isn’t getting the column inches it deserves.

  5. Are we still stuck on all criticism of Israel being seen as antisemitism? Some people might use that strategy but only an idiot would think Israel are beyond reproach and there is plenty to criticise about the way they have treated Palestine and its citizens.

  6. This is gross, and it happened so damn easily too.

How does this constantly happen and never be constantly put in the public mainstream space?

  7. Not favouring Israel above your own interests is downright antisemitic, you should be ashamed of yourselves. /s

  8. Yes. It is an attack of freedom of expression. Especially considering Israel’s pretty poor human rights standards. Though considering how corrupt and bigoted their PM is, no wonder the Tories love him!

  9. Don’t seem to hear much about boycotts recently. Tinfoil hat theory – I assume because its more effective and the media doesn’t want to encourage it.
