Pathetic losers whining how ACTUALLY everything is so terrible in Poland in 3, 2, 1..
Cheap, safe and has a lot to offer, makes sense but still i’m surprised cuz Croatia is amazing.
It feels like Poland or a Polish city is chosen in one of these every few months and yet Poland’s tourism figures are always bad. We just don’t really have much to offer that other European countries also don’t do better.
as a representative of the Krakow community, I’m tired of carrying the entire nations tourism on our backs 😮💨do better
Don’t really care about tourists looking for cheap destinations and there are too many tourists in my city already. Also there are like 1000s of more intersting places to see in PL than this hellish death camp.
I’m not surprised, want to see some nice mountains? We have Tatra Mountains and Bieszczady. Wanna sail around beautiful lakes? We have Mazury. Wanna get to know some history? Lots of museums are waiting for you.
The only thing we lack is decent seaside, although you can find some good spots, but they are rare. Prices there aren’t great either
It’s absolutely true…… I have my own website about wonderful places in Poland. [GoToPoland.net](https://gotopoland.net/index.php) It’s really worth coming to us. Monuments, nature, big cities and small towns invite to see. We have sea, many lakes, forests, 23 national parks and more attractions. Blue peasant huts in open-air museum in Sierpc, accommodation under the ground in Wieliczka Salt Mine, Royal Castles that welcomed many personalities and witnessed momentous events, such as the signing of the first constitution in Europe, unique Museum of Icons in Supraśl, the largest and most famous wine festival in Zielona Góra, many places and monuments inscribed on the UNESCO Heritage List, **this is just the beginning**. Because we have Krakow with old soul, destroyed and created from the rubble, modern Warsaw, fighting Gdańsk, charming Wrocław, and green Białystok. Someone will say that Poland is hopeless, I completely disagree with this stereotype. I live in a beautiful country that has a lot to offer. Go to my website, read about cities [Cities in Poland](https://gotopoland.net/cities_,m3,s300.html) and other places [Towns and other places](https://gotopoland.net/towns_and_other_places,m5,s500.html), and see for yourself!
Beautiful Poland will be stuffed with ‘Muricans shortly. Howdy Dobry
Nice to see Poland recognized, even if this for a budget tourist destination. Would be even nicer if mentioned attractions were not places like Auschwitz-Birkenau. We have a lot more to offer.
You forgot to mention: in the Travel on a tight budget category.
Poland is such a beautiful country so this doesn’t surprise me. Took my non-Polish wife to Poland last year and with the addition of all the highways, travelling around is so much more efficient now. She absolutely loved it the country and can’t wait to go back.

Interesting to check the previous editions e.g. [https://www.10best.com/awards/travel/best-international-budget-destination/](https://www.10best.com/awards/travel/best-international-budget-destination/) In 2015 top was Canada and Portugal…
