Are they ever not at it?

  1. Also second thing, if they try to say its just an image than why is there a very faint border line and why is Donegal on the wrong side of it.

  2. South Ireland is not apart of the damn uk. My family did not die for them to still call the south uk. I live in NI and I will not stand for this slander

  3. I think British people simply cannot conceive of their country not including the two islands in their entirety. That’s why they’re so comfortable with the term ‘British Isles’, they feel it’s a natural grouping because that’s what’s British to them.

You literally never find the British government using that term anymore but I think it’s at the root of bollocks such as this.

  4. You may not be aware of this but a not insignificant amount of British people…weren’t even taught about the famine to begin with. So it makes a weird sort of sense they don’t get how tactless this is. Or think they still have any sense of superiority to stand on.

  5. video’s only 2:51 long. after the obligatory youtube intro, outro, and merch plug, all that’s left is enough time for them to say “fart about and oppress the poor” before they have to sign off

EDIT:: “and claim more land via shitty incorrect infographs” obviously

  6. Don’t rush people, give it a few centuries. I mean George III only dropped the claim to the French throne in about 1800

  7. They’re paid £86m($108m) by the sovereign grant each year which is taxpayer funded

the description for the sovereign grant on there website royal(.)uk is as followers

“The Sovereign acts as a focus for national identity, unity and pride; gives a sense of stability and continuity; officially recognises success and excellence; and supports the ideal of voluntary service.”

If I had to pay millions each year to let’s say the Leo Varadkar family for “a sense of stabily”, they’d be hanging from they’re knickers of the walls of Dublin castle
