Tram stop

  1. Here we see a gathering of birota scooterodus.

They gather around a ceremonial totempole in order to worship their god, the Tramodus.

Tramodus is one of 3 gods, the others being busus and trainus.

  2. I see it so often just in a middle of a sidewalk. Some people just don’t care that handicapped persons or people with a baby cart can’t pass there. I wish there was more strict laws against that shit

    Edit- English typos 🙂 thanks!

  3. Several of the scooter companies here in the US started requiring that you lock them to something (with an attached lock). That solved some of this middle-of-the-sidewalk mess, but now all the bike racks are clogged with scooters. I love the convenience these things offer, but we need better ways to store them – as well as of course people not being anti-social jerks.

  4. I walk my dog and regularly pass by two of them “collection points” in my village. Walloon backwater, not your Lasne or Braine l’Alleud or some affluent such.

**I shit you not, this does not happen.** These babies are nicely slotted one alongside another, 5, 6 of them. Once they were down, but still in line, could have just been wind.

Then I see this crap on the internet and I think, what the actual fuck is wrong with my village?! Maybe the kids are retarded? It is slightly concerning because my kids drive these as well.

I don’t know what to think here. Send help.

  5. This kind of shows the failings of the public transport as well

If there were good public transport options nearby from where they started, they wouldn’t need the scooters.

But since the public transport options for your route are often too far away, people need a way to get there.

  6. Thank god we don’t have this crap in my city.
There are plenty scootertards already but at least they’re not claiming the sidewalks as well. What’s wrong with a bike ffs.

  7. Recently moved from Belgium to Portugal

Here you have to park them in designated parking spots and take a picture , otherwise you pay 6€ more

  8. There’s a law in the make about this. Less trotinette and rules to where to put them. But it’s Belgium, so, be patient. 😊

  9. I like watching magnet-fishing-video’s on youtube. There’s one channel that fishes a lot in holland (amsterdam end other cities).

I completely understand now why he’s getting so much of these steps on his magnet. I do not approve of throwing these in water, but i do understand why it’s happening.

  10. I’m always tempted to push them into the street. Once they start bothering car drivers instead of the people using wheelchairs or pushing prams, this issue may be solved.

  11. I like when people leave their steps like this. Then I get off my tram and get on my step.

  12. Would be a nice idea if you can put them back in a charging dock. Would look more organised and you don’t have to check the battery % on all

  13. These scooters each represent one person who has travelled a distance they might otherwise have done by car. The same amount of people travelling by car, with parking, would take up vastly more room. Scooters are efficient and eco friendly and make a city liveable. The problem is there is no provision of infrastructure to support them. Imagine if a fraction of the spending on the city’s road networks was transferred to scooter infrastructure: less mess, less cars, less pollution. I hate this anti-change mentality. Scooters are brilliant

  14. Every fucking morning I want to leave my house and there is a step or scooter in front of my doorway. It really messes up my morning.

  15. See, I think if companies were liable for the disturbance their scooters cause (bc it can be argued that it’s their job to pay for and put forward dropping spots for their equipment) we would have thus issue a lot less, as they’d take measures (designated spots + overcharge when you don’t drop the scooter in a designated spot)

  16. Electric scooters should be illegal its unsafe and a huge nuisance in the streets my grandma walks with a karreke and can’t even get trough her own street come on guys park elsewhere !

  17. Funny how this has NEVER been an issue with bicycles. Really tells you a lot about the kind of people driving these.
