Not unexpected from a country influenced by a Dictatorship.
Apart from the ridiculous (but not unexpected) nature of this whole situation, it’s disturbing this kind of thing is being normalised. Even if there’s no charges, it sets the precedent of the authorities harassing people for the most minor things.
I wonder if the EU will comment on this behaviour or if their concern for civil rights is limited to Belarus or other far flung places.
