Moldova-Romania relations and the issue of the “gentle calf sucking from two cows”

  1. I didn’t know that Moldova’s biggest electrical power station was actually in Transnistria. No wonder they won’t let Transnistria go, the Kuchurang power plant is like 80% of their electrical power. The soviets picked an interesting location to build this particular power station. Of course Russia is going to have a great deal of influence over Moldova. Frankly I think the EU and Romania should do more to help Moldova become energy independent.
