  1. I spotted a snake (or snake-like?) at the front door or our house in (the suburbs of) Warsaw.

Does anybody recognize this type of animal?
    Wild or escaped pet?

  2. Grass snake (Natrix Natrix), not venomous, pretty common in forests and such, may be spotted in the city from time to time

  3. Thats a grass snake, it likes to swinm and to eat frogs and mice.

  4. Okay people in Warsaw are not the best but there is no need to call us snakes, come on.

  5. These assholess live in my garden and doesn’t even pay for rent

  6. Zaskroniec, not dangerous at all, but don’t take it in your hands – it releases really nasty smell while in danger. Otherwise harmless.

  7. Don’t step on it, might be venomous, or worse, libertarian.

  8. Grass snake, completely harmless. I remember when my dad found one hiding in a broom in our garage.

  9. It’s common species (still protected tho), not venomous and completely harmless, but this place definitely doesn’t look safe for it. 😐

  10. Why the hell is he living in a city, it’s a grass snake (zaskroniec) lmao

  11. I have had it with these motherfucking snakes in this motherfucking city

  13. Snakes in Warsaw sounds like the name of a band that would play at a local Scottish pub on a Tuesday night.
