Kurdish youth, who came together at the Iraqi Consulate in Bern, the capital of Switzerland, at around 11.30 today, are carrying out an act of civil disobedience. The action of the youth, who stated that they did not accept this siege aimed at Mexmur, continues at the Iraqi Consulate with the slogan “Mexmur is the camp of life, against the occupation of life, we will revolt!”
“We, the Kurdish youth, will not take a step back. We stand by the people of Mexmur. This is the people’s decision. We will resist here. Like the people of Mexmur, we will not surrender our will. We did not surrender our will to the Turkish state, nor will we surrender it to the Iraqi state. That’s why we’re calling here. This siege, which is also a dirty project of the Turkish state, means the siege of all of us.”
