Dirty protest are normal and staff get paid extra and it’s left for other prisoners to clean up and there paid more then a average wing cleaner. Some have blood as well. The cell is cleaned and the dirty protesters are put back in there sell and it starts all over again . The moj need to leave them in the cells and clothes like that and not pay other prisoners to clean it up. There should be a cleaning company on hand that deals with bio hazardous waste. The moj needs changes and quickly. As there are many deaths and suicides not even reported or made public. The last hanging was in pentonville prison two weeks ago but nothing put out by Ian blakedon the governor or moj. Other prisoner killed in his cell last summer by staff restaning him. Nothing about that put down as a covid death. Often staff are left with one p.o on a wing and sometimes when staff are still on there probation period. Even when this is not menat to be the case. Staff are offered 22 a hour pp for over time. But are so under staffed as the training is to demanding and long. Sure most are victorain prison but do we need a moj with Victorian mid set.
