I found this arabic inscription on a water fountain in occupied Nicosia, near the Armenian monastery. I tried google lens but it doesn’t detect it. Does anyone know when was it built or what it might say?
it could be ottoman Turkish or Cufic Arabic considering it was near a monastery it could be a prayer as ottomans had a thing for converting churches to mosques

Arabic 💀, thats what skipping ottoman period in history class does to you xd. It is in Sülüs writing style
The first one in the middle is a Quranic verse ”And we made every living thing from water”.
But he rest is I’m guessing Ottoman Turkish because I can’t read it at all.
Edit: I’m Lebanese, Arabic is my first language.
But i thought Cyprus was Greek throughout history…
İt’s a ottoman Turkish actually and when Ottoman Empire in there build a water fountain 1572-1800 like between these years ❤️❤️
