This is in a public park in Birmingham.

  1. I don’t believe it.

    1. Where is it getting the power from.
    2. How much power would be needed to cause a shock given such a large surface area.
    3. Paint isn’t conductive.
    4. It’s bollocks.

  2. It’s a prank, possibly a political statement (and a good one if it is).

The anti-homeless thing is the design of the bench, which is actually a *good* thing, but ignoring/not understanding what help is really needed for the homeless is as bad as personally wiring that bench to a 20,000 volt pylon.

  3. I call bullshit.

Not impossible but that would be a lawsuit NIGHTMARE.

And you’d have to wire it in under the path and all, there’s no external box here.

  4. It’s bullshit. Imagine some old guy with a pace maker stops to catch his breath and he gets electrocuted by this. He’d be fried. Even the scum at Bham city council wouldn’t want to deal with that

  5. It’s encouraging to see 40% of responders here rationalizing that this is fake. If only this amount of thought was placed into analysis of the articles the British can’t stop consuming from the Daily Mail, Telegraph, Sun, Breitbart, and others. Or just not consume them at all. Maybe the UK wouldn’t have Brexited nor would it continue to double down on Brexit.

  6. Guys this isn’t actually a fake, it’s in pigeon park in Birmingham and the council did actually electrify it. I sat down there last night after a few drinks and now my jizz has blood in it.

  7. I’m sure Braverman has wet dreams about this kind of project, but this has got to be satire – for the time being.

  8. Very funny 😄

You’ll still get all the kids hanging around it at night trying to plug their phones in to it somehow 😄

  9. Start drinking at 8, comatose by 10, wake up with phone fully charged at 6am. You can also charge your Segway for the morning commute if you have the right adapter.

  10. WTF.?! All the time and money they spend stopping homeless people finding anywhere to sleep could be spent on HELPING those people! I am disgusted.

  11. “In other news a Birmingham Park has had to lock its gates after large groups of fetish electrostimers were causing a loud disturbance after 11pm”

  12. This is street artist Folka Wolf in Birminghams Pigeon Park,
Hes done many such pieces, my favourite of which was Angel wings in Digbeth made entirely from dicks!
