Is there anyway to spoil the steel on these ships – so we leave them as a grave but remove the value of the steel
But the UK won’t actually do anything about other than “condemn their actions”.
The West needs to man-up. We sit back whilst China salvages WWII wrecks and flies spy baloons whilst Russia invades sovereign countries and comes to the UK to poison people.
We need to start taking action, not just shaking our heads and tutting.
The usual pathetic weak response. We are a joke now.
Is there a thing about steel from a certain era or something like that
Honest to god just stick some orphan sources in that bitch. Not like anyone’s really meant to be there. Water is a strong enough insulator to avoid any issues for people on the surface. And for the grave robbers? Chase them off and if they won’t we do need to get rid of our old harpoons.
Well it’s not like the Royal Navy can stop them. The Chinese have the power we no longer possess.
Western governments can say China is an enemy but the Chinese have more industrial capacity than the US and Europe combined and in a war a real war that’s all that matters.
So would this be basically recycling?
They’re going to put it in museums & attempt a culture victory
So China is cutting up war graves and we’re pretty ok with it?
Accidentialy blast a salvage vessel with a drone and then say oops we thought you were pirates. Play the dumb game like russia and china do when they do something illegal.
From some comments you think the UK paying for the operation
The wreck of HMS Exeter has already completely gone.
>Royal Navy ‘Distressed and Concerned’
Just about sums up the UK these days really…
They used to be the most dominant Navy on the planet ffs.
My guess and it’s only that (a guess) is that there is that there is other material that we don’t want to admit is contained within?
