  1. And their response was to say ‘sorry’ and increase our bills to fix a problem we’ve already paid for and won’t be fixed this time either.

  2. Make them pay a £10bn fine for every litre. Wipe out the the entire equity base and stop this largest scam of the taxpayer now. This whole sector needs to be nationalised yesterday; it is completely ridiculous it was ever privatised.

  3. These Water Companies aren’t doing what we pay them for – this is a Scam. This Tory Gov’t doesn’t hold them to account. All the people who said private water companies could do it better were wrong. Does this matter! Yes, unless you like swimming with turds. Can you help fix it? Complain to your water company, report pollution, and vote for any political party that will do something about the problem.

  4. And the government did what …? The climate movement is a con. They do not care about the planet but they are obsessed with total control over us, for our safety and the planets of course.

  5. I wish there was some way for the people to hold these fuckers to account if the government is not willing to do so.

We’re all told to do our part for the environment and these assholes are just pissing over that.

  6. I wish they would stop calling it raw sewage.
I feel that if they kept talking about “liquid excrement”, things would move faster because people would really feel disgusted and would demand change.

  7. The effects of climate breakdown will become harsher each year and water will become an increasingly precious commodity.

We can’t sit back and let the water companies pump raw waste and destroy our rivers, streams, lakes, canals and seas so they can make profit and hand money over to shareholders.

I’d recommend everyone to join their local or appropriate organisation campaigning against this (e.g surfers against sewage) and also any organisation in favour of renationalisation (such as ‘we own it’).

We all need to do our part to get involved and stop letting these companies destroy and dirty our water whilst the government and ‘regulator’ do nothing.

  8. This is what the British public want as anyone who wants to talk about the issues and fix them will be classed as too communist to be electable.

  9. The water utilities should be renationalised immediately without any compensation to shareholders. They have proved themselves incapable of investing the funds needed to improve sewage systems and fix the massive problems with leaks in the mains water supply. The companies should be prosecuted for gross negligence and the CEO and directors issued with massive fines on a personal basis.
