My goodness that’s a laughably barebones methodology for something the guy calls misery index. Just four economic indicators and zero direct measure of how people actually feel. Like, do a fucking poll you idiot!
Edit: Qatar may be full of migrant workers held against their will in terrible conditions, but surely they’re not as miserable as Iceland where they have higher lending rates.
This list is amazing. Mozambique is less miserable than Hungary. With all due respect I think life in Hungary is easier
