I don’t see how would that be surprising.
Most of EU countries have that kind of regional differences, with the area around the capital being well above both national and EU average.
Even capital cities of “poorer” EU countries are often above EU average.
Data from 2004 is kinda old.
The lighter areas & the pink ones obv have less jobs, Most of our country is rular and people from small towns moving to helsinki for work make them desolate ghost towns, mainly older folk who are retired live there now so income is very likely to look like that.
Yes Ik this is from 2004 but things havent changed much.
