She clearly is a scapegoat but she shouldn’t have lied. That’s on her.
Yeah, she is clearly being used as a scapegoat, but is also a shitty person. Not surprising considering her career choice, I’ve never met a copper that was trustworthy.

They’re either all guilty or complicit. There is no third type of filth.
Who was the detective running the investigation? Or was the entire probe into a police officer carrying out sex offences delegated to a PC? Whichever is the case, there are additional people with a lot to answer for. I make no comment on the performance of this officer, but overall responsibility and blame should not be solely shouldered by the lowest ranked individual in the chain.
