  1. Turkey’s inflation is false,Turkey istatistic foundation lose a court against enag istatistic foundation.According to enag inflation was above 100

  2. Among the countries with the lowest inflation rates you either have the ones with terribly high unemployment or the very rich ones where any additional money doesn’t really increase buying power/impact the spending behavior.

Almost as if Keynes and the post-Keynesians were right all along!

  3. Why is Russia on this list? They are not part of Europe. Nor do their citizens think they are Europe.

Most certainly, they are culturally not Europe. 😀

you could just throw in Taiwan for good measure in this case 😀

  4. It is actually funny that Hungary is second on the list, while Orban claims that he protects the population from inflation by undermining sanctions against russia.

  5. Hungary and Turkey. The trojan horses of EU and NATO are the highest. Says a lot, doesn’t it?

  6. I don’t know about other countries, but from personal experience I know that official data from Turkiye and Russia is bs and not to be trusted. In reality, both countries have much higher inflation rates.

  7. Can someone clarify something for me? Yesterday someone told me that Consumer Price Inflation is not real inflation, but that the real inflation will come when people will massively try to withdraw money from the banks.

    Is this correct?

  8. And 2/3 of our country still slices the propaganda “Hungary performs better”. We are stupid.

  9. Turkey: let’s elect the president who is responsible for the economic desaster again, when he’s in charge everything will become better!

  10. Poland always one of the first in economic collapse. The current government is now preparing yet another fuel for the inflation fire – giving away free money that grows in Kaczynski’s garden.

  11. I mean probably not the actual numbers but Russia’s inflation rate at 2 precent even after the giant knife they just jabbed into their economy… some very unprecedented global inflation only rivaling the largest events in history in the last century…

  12. Anything bad related with Turkey always reveals on the r/Europe posts but good things do not. Why?
