  1. Excerpt from this petitions page: ‘we have about 10 years to avoid the climate point of no return’

Looks like more extremist, globalist climate alarmism that seeks to continue to de-industrialise, impoverish and now attack the food supply of Western countries.

No I will not be signing.

  2. Hello, I actually signed this petition a while ago and I’m very happy with the initiative.

I believe its a step in the right direction, if we want to reduce CO2 emissions which are produced in huge amounts from meat production.

I hope that people realise how bad climate change effects will be, this is just one thing we can contribute to.

  3. The biggest ecological climate change disaster of the year happened when the Gas Pipelines from Russia to Germany were destroyed.

The gas released is a super potent greenhouse gas that is far more potent at trapping radiation than carbon dioxide.

Yet the EU refuses to discuss this sabotage, refuses to acknowledge the extent of the disaster while at the same time asking its citizens to make sacrifices with their puny efforts.

In the meantime the oil companies are making record breaking profits and renewable energy is no longer a priority. The US in particular will not stop attacking and mocking Germany for its commitment to a green economy.

The sacrifices asked from citizens is total hogwash and result only in creating resistance. Citizens will use what options are available to them, they are in no position to retool the country’s economy or industry, anything they do outside of stopping to exist is insignificant and ridiculous.

That extends to flying, driving and eating. All these activities fade into insignificance compared to the carbon footprint of military activity, and the current situation and rearmament is a direct result of planned and methodical provocation to orchestrate situation we are in.

Global warming is real and has been a scientific inevitable consequence of big oil since the 1960’s.

The so called efforts to stop global warming are not real and tailored to delay any real action and distract from real solutions.

Don’t be a useful idiot. Virtue signaling on social media will not change a thing. Only regaining control of our democracies and stopping the lies and manipulation can stop the disaster we are heading into.

  4. Just as a side note. You’re signing a demand to “End The Slaughter Age” that would require the start of a new extinction age?
Whole bread’s of animals would be wiped out. Humanity will keep a few examples in zoo’s, for a while. With a very few of them, re-wilding might be possible, but that is a very few. And those few will be locked away in far too small areas behind the same barbed wire fences. To keep them away from the vegetable crops.
The science behind this demand almost entirely comes from the US, where industrial farming is the norm. That’s not to say that practice doesn’t exist in Europe. But one of the best things that keeps it a bay, is the subsidiary system.
To think that removing those subsidies would make things better, either for the climate or the animals, is possibly a bit naive as to the nature of humans.

Most of us want meat, and we want it as cheap as possible.

We can and do ignore that our taxes go to make that meat cheaper, along with our vegitables.

But please do not kid yourself that forcing industrial meat farming onto the continent is going to change people’s minds about eating it. It may change a few people’s minds, but honestly not that many.

I get it, you’re a veggie/vegan and hate the consumption of meat. No joking, I was a kid who grew up on a Sheep farm who married a veggie! I know the arguments, I’ve known them for almost 30 years!

So seriously I ask you to think a little deeper. This proposal doesn’t stop animal farming, it just makes it a bit harder. Do you honestly think that is going to stop meat farming? Or just make the life of the animals worse.
