Well, as in any country you have two sides of the same coin. Poland has some beautiful, culturally rich villages.
Folk patterns? Medieval markets? Harvest festivals where you can buy beer and sausage for sth like 3 euro all together? Poland has your back.
I’ve collected pictures from different regions in order to picture you another view on Polish rural area. It’s not all perfect and picturesque, yet its still worth exploring in order to make up your own mind.

Looks very similar to Bucovina, but that shouldn’t be too surprising since that area had lots of Polish influence. Great pics, I wouldn’t feel out of place in a village there.
That is not Poland, its Redania !
Very nice and cozy .. bright colours. Beautifull :))
I miss Poland <3
The Polish Rural Committee’s PR department is doing their job I see…
Never ever would I have thought to see lanckorona on Reddit. I have such great memories from there when I was was visiting my great grandfather as a child.

This post is somewhat of a response to [this one](https://www.reddit.com/r/europe/comments/13trwru/provincial_poland/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) picturing Poland as a great set for another Hostel sequel, where time since the Eurotrip movie stopped.
