there is not enough room between those lines to install the tram-stops!
but in more serious manner – the only point to have separate transportation from buses (which have been reduced in service due to the lack of funds….. trams are more expencive) would be to connect city with the areas outside… and i do not mean the houses built on the fields (althout they would also need transportation at some point) but kõrveküla, haage, ülenurme and other areas where people actually live and move – to work in Tartu.

I’m certain that having two lines with the same end destination is pointless. Switching vehicles at most once doesn’t hurt anyone.

Fuck this. Proper biking infra everywhere + reduce car traffic and Tartu is set. We are too small for fancy solutions like tramways which take a lot of room.
