    It’s legal to protest, but it is NOT legal to block traffic while protesting.

    People on r/ireland should remember that, next time someone is protesting for a cause you believe in….. It’s STILL illegal to block traffic.

    Had a dipshit try and spend his time pissing and moaning at me during covid, but he forgot one main point. I was being paid to be there and ignore him

22. My aunt is one of these types of nuts, though she lives in Galway. She has attended smaller protests against Ukranian refugees and told me the war is not real.

    Anyway, the same woman needed a lift home from an event one evening and I was volunteered by my lovely brother to do the job.

    On the way I pointed to a boarded up house that not 10 days prior was the site of a murder, and only a 3 minute drive from her front door. She hadn’t heard of this murder, despite it being big news nationally and locally. She didn’t believe me.

    She literally spends all her time on Facebook and some other websites that I don’t know. Doesn’t engage with local news or mainstream media.
