all over the world, cities are being shutdown down because of air pollution. bejing, bangkok, athens, delhi – all get periodically shut down because the air is so dangerous, and I’m not sure it’s measured to the extent that london air is measured – they just cant breath.
what kind of fool would argue against this ? you dont need to be a scientist or economist to figure out what lots of cars do to a congested city. Its right infront of your eyes.

These people are just cunts. They’re not even pretending that it’s about the cost of the zone or anything any more, they’re heckling a dead child.
Of all the things they could be campaigning to improve, they want to campaign in favour of air pollution.
The implementation has not been perfect but the fact is we have to do something about air pollution, so it is better to implement a scheme and fix it in editing than to wait for the perfect solution. Air pollution is making us all sicker, the severe decrease in it was one of the few benefits of lockdown, even if we are not dying from it, it is better to act now than to wait for the problem to get worse because we cannot please everyone.
