41 KFOR soldiers, including 11 Italians, were injured in the serious clashes between NATO troops and Serb demonstrators in Zvecan, in northern Kosovo.
Of the 11 wounded Italians, three are serious but not life threatening: they would have suffered burns and fractures.

The KFOR had intervened today in Zvecan to disperse the Serb demonstrators who have been demonstrating this morning in front of the local Town Hall to protest against the inauguration of the new mayor of Albanian ethnicity. The military used stun grenades, while demonstrators threw stones, bottles and other objects at NATO troops.
Zvecan is one of the four major municipalities in northern Kosovo with a Serb majority led by new mayors of Albanian ethnicity were elected on 23 April due to the electoral boycott of the Serbs. Similar protests are also underway in Zubin Potok and Leposavic.
**Update**: NATO KFOR confirms explosives were used by Serbs, causing fractures and burns to KFOR soldiers.

I don’t understand why NATO condemned Kosovo yet still sent troops to suppress the Serbs.
According to Hungarian media reports 14 Hungarian KFOR soldiers have been injured in the clashes, some of them seriously.

TLDR – Serbs dont accept 3 percent of the population choosing the leaders of the region. The reason they (other 97 percent) boycotted was because of a previous agreement (2013) not being fulfilled. 3 percent deciding for everybody is not democracy, thats why there are thresholds
