Young Voices: ‘Third Places’ – How consumerism is reshaping Luxembourg’s social landscape

  1. The latte-sipping author sounds like a typical entitled wannabe journalist.

First, mourning that underground Hamilius is gone, but ignores that literally a few hundred feet away the city built one of the best and largest public skate parks in Europe.

Then she goes on about no public raves being organised. Can’t she start one if it were that easy? Besides, public raves and jam sessions are quite niche, so why the need to generalise?

Finally, Luxembourg is not Barcelona (a silly comparison to start with), but around the country, in smaller communes too, there are many clubs and events, to support a local kids sport club, keep some tradition alive, etc. One only needs to show up and if they wish can buy a drink or contribute with their time.
