I’ve been a customer of the Bank of Cyprus for 10 years, since it absorbed the solvent part of Laiki. The service is bad and overpriced. The charges are ridiculous, especially if it comes to paying with a BoC card outside of Eurozone. The attitude of the bank’s employees towards genuine people bringing large amounts of legit clean money into this country and creating well-paying jobs is appalling. The bank’s KYC/AML team is dog slow and incompetent as fuck.
If BoC is the best, imagine how shit the rest of them are. Remember, this is one of the core industries of the Republic of Cyprus.
The shittiest bank in my home country is at least 10x better than BOC 😀
