  1. >The Ivory Act, described by ministers as “world-leading” and which bans imports, exports and sales, received royal assent three years ago last Monday.

That fucking term ‘world leading’ is such bullshit. Can’t lead the world if you don’t actually enact the law.

  2. British Govt. when passing obviously necessary legislation which would help stop a cruel and tragic practice: I sleep

British Govt. when exploiting a deadly pandemic to hand out hundreds of millions of dollars in dodgy contracts to firms linked to their families: REAL SHIT

  3. Tories and their mates haven’t sold all their trophies yet, or are worried that when their old man kicks the bucket, his collection will be worth less.

  4. Who exactly is stopping this? They should be known to the people.

This also goes for (most likely the same) people selling off the NHS.

  5. No surprise this government dithers and delays even obvious things. This is a simple change that has no real negatives but they’re unable to even manage this.

  6. But why…?

There’s literally nothing stopping them and no reason not to implement it now other than some people exploiting it as much as possible

  7. Every time I think iv hit peak hatred for this worthless shell of a government, they pull out another disgusting trick

    Wankers
