
Yesterday I booked a ticket from Köln to Amsterdam for July through the DB Navigator App. Everything seemed to be going fine, including seat reservation, payment. The first time, right after I confirmed to pay, an error popped up saying I have to rebook because something didn’t go through. The second time, I was able to authenticate my payment just fine, but received no cofirmation.
Is it normal to not receive a confirmation email (or any type of in-app confirmation) after booking a ticket? My payment is still pending on my credit card app but I usually receive a booking confirmation via email (e.g. for plane tickets) even though the payment is not yet confirmed. There is nothing appearing on the DB App or on my account on [bahn.de](https://bahn.de) either to show that I have even booked anything. No ticket, no booking. Should I wait more or should I contact DB immediately? This is my first time purchasing through the app so I am not sure if this is a situation that I only have to wait on.
