But they were ‘following the science’. Nonsense, people got scared shitless and welcomed restrictions.
This is just a politically motivated woke lefty tofu stitch-up to get rid of Boris Johnson, cynically orchestrated by the sinister machinations of *checks notes* Boris Johnson!
This seems one million times as bad as asking the civil service to book a course for you
It really is grotesque how, as the country suffered, the person responsible for instituting the lockdown thought the rules didn’t apply to him. But this is very consistent with how Boris Johnson has always behaved, as his Eton school report shows.
Like 2 days ago YouGuv had a question which was something like “Do you think Boris Johnson broke lockdown rules more times than previous disclosed?”.
That’s hilarious. Who ran that poll? Were they checking to see how this story would hit?
I saw an LBC video the other day, where the presenter asked, “If it turned out that Boris held a Winnie the Pooh themed party in checkers during lockdown where he covered himself in honey, and people like rees-mogg and nadine dorres followed him around to lick the honey off of him, would you actually be shocked?”
And I think that summed things up very well, none of these disclosures or revelations are actually shocking, just… par for the course at this point.
“Undisclosed Johnson Events” do not sound like a pleasant time for anyone
tortoise media reported this last year and everyone ignored it. media dropped the ball
Can’t wait for an investigation into how the investigators missed or allowed this.
Anyone surprised that a narcissistic, ‘VIP ITU bed’ individual didn’t give a shit? I’d say no.
But expect the arrogance to continue, and the hard right/fascist antivaxer Tinfoil Tories to rally to his defence.
What a surprise, the Custard Yeti acted like the rules didn’t apply to him…
This isn’t just about Johnson’s actions. It’s bigger than that. It has damaged what little faith people have in the running on this country and reinforces the “one rule for them one for us” mentality.

I care about the lasting effect it will have on the trust in government.

God forbid we ever end up in another situation like Covid where people will point to this and the countless other examples of rule breaking at the top as an excuse \ reason to not follow any guidance next time.
You will be asked by the sycophants and his media friends to believe no one cares that the person who ruined everyone’s lives with his chaotic leadership is being targeted and no one cares.
These are so bad that those viewing them have involved the police. They aren’t socially distanced work meetings in the garden, it’s more examples of his cavalier attitude to the rules
I can only imagine the number of parties he would’ve had if it weren’t for covid.
