Three stray puppies left outside Hotel Rila in Borovets 🙁 they are freezing what can I do to help them?

  2. To OP: The sad thing is most ppl here tend to neglect animals so this scene is pretty common. It’s not a nice sight but it’s the reality. At least foreign ppl will see that most of the advertising what a great destination we’re are false! It’s all big marketing campaigns to draw tourist crowds for money. The actual state of the country is depressing.

  3. You can try sending a signal with an app like “Help a paw” which is made for all kind of animal disasters.

  4. Sometimes the mother of the dogs may be somewhere nearby searching for food. It may come back after several hours.

    Also as I know all the stray fogs are killed right before the ski season in Borovets.

  5. They’ll probably be OK. People will feed and water them and they’ll find solace outside the local grocery store. They have fur coats and each other to keep warm.

    This is a common sight in Bulgaria. Stray dogs however are a lot lower in number than they used to be after many of them were sterilized.
