They recently tried to build a large solar farm on some farm land just west of Alfreton. Unfortunately it was met with a lot of local resistance and never got permission from the council.
Bring out the NIMBYs with their nonsense reasons why not.
They installed a massive solar farm on some land behind my old house in inkersall, chesterfield. My old as fuck neighbors all had a petition to block it because they thought it was unsightly as the area was really rural. I told them to stick it up their arse and I’m pleased to say that the build went ahead anyway and, in my opinion, looked cool. Would they rather there was a fucking coal plant there? Where do they think the power comes from?
