  1. Hopefully this scheme is set up in such a way that defence barristers won’t try to claim the victim will benefit from conviction and is motivated as such.

    CICA already exists but these is obviously tailored

  2. How would this even work?

    Without a conviction or evidence, how do you even prove yourself a victim of child sexual exploitation?

    There is no doubt that child victims should be compensated, but surely the offender should foot the bill, not that taxpayer.

  3. How about just actually arresting the perpetrators and then prosecuting them such offenses, and then actually use the system to punish them, rather than a 12 month stay on an isolation block?
