Let me congratulate you on a wise switch of monarchs and countries. 🥂 cheers
Well if you want that tingling feeling in the back, I would suggest gare area after 11pm
😂😂😂 to the airport taking a plane to London
Nowhere
Clausen is not bad during the weekend. Also during the warm seasons anywhere in the old town / hamillious is usually nice. Very small but you’ll find the grove.
All else fails, you can easily take a train to Trier and have a good time there for nothing.
You think you are going to miss homeless people screaming at you?
Funny enough, I just had the opposite challenge as a Luxembourger in London. But Walking in splendid weather along the Thames from Kew Bridge to Chiswick really made me feel at home.
It’s all shit. Don’t bother.
If you go for a walk in the city centre on Sunday morning, you will see how London looked like during the lockdown or how it will look like after a nuclear attack alert.
I’m sorry to be pedantic but it’s His Royal Highness The Grand Duke not His Majesty.
Luxembourg has nothing to offer in this regard. It’s a pit full of money hungry mentally dead people
No need for hiking or cycling, there’s cricket and polo events, you won’t be disappoint
“It’s dangerous to go alone! Take this.” : 🏏
To the airport, there are good connections with UK
Luxembourg is ever so slightly smaller than London! It’s county town size.
In my personal opinion, if you want the London buzz, take the TGV to Paris.
Nowhere. I moved 4 years ago and am still looking for anything close to what London offers.
Can i ask you why you decided to move?
Two hour train ride to Paris is an easy option if you want the hustle and bustle of a huge city. Convenient for a weekend trip. I know some people who even go for day trips.
London?
Go to the gare!
This is Luxemburg not London, don t compare them please, it is not the same.
Nowhere, expect in the morning public transport and in the evening when folks get home. And still it is not the same.
Scott’s Pub in the Grund Area along with the Clausen area down the road and the Place d’Armes area in the city centre. Both in Luxemburg City.
Trier or Ikea Arlon when there’s a public holiday in Lux but not DE/BE.
