1. Love Cactus pricing. Once saw a 6pack of 50cl for less than a 6 pack of 33cl Bofferding. How they calculate margins is beyond me.

4. I saw one of these a few weeks back where the old price was a cent or two lower than the promotional price. Wanting to be a good citizen I highlighted this to a shop employee, who – making it clear that my obviously low IQ and lack of french both were a great inconvenience to her – painstakingly explained that it was because of inflation.

8. Feels like the gas stations whenever the gas/diesel prices drop 1 cent, and people queue up to stock gas for the end of the world
