… and still a better playing surface than the stadium in Cape Town over the weekend 😉
They’ve been doing No Mow At All for the last 15 years. Those areas are always left like that.
The campus is one of the most scenic places in the country.
Never forget being there during the snow in late 10/early 11 and it was amazing.
What’s the point in no mow may?
There’s a good bunch of beehives near there.
Attract all the wildlife and insects and then mow the shite out of them in June, good thinking Mr Maynooth
She’s a quare lush land if left alone.
Does no mow may actually make a difference or is it just more virtue signalling like the paper straws
They just forgot about it the same way they forgot about finishing up that student center after students already paid for it….
Hate the place.
I’ve walked that to Kilcock, fk I miss you Sinead Edwards*
I love the little pathways they do now into the meadows
Since Covid (or maybe before) they’ve left those pitches uncut for big chunks for the summer.
Maybe I’m a cynic but I know some of the staff were happy to have a reason to stop the public kicking a football around on the pitch, so part of me thinks this was more a happy by-product of the colleges prolonged actions at keeping the public out
I must visit Maynooth!
Not a pitch for ground hurling
Holy saturation, Batman!
South Campus during Summer is a different beast
Green green grass, blue blue sky…
I was wondering how Dublin have been so dominant in Leinster the past decade
