Hi everyone !

**Tonight at 19:30**, I’m **interviewing Irish MEP Sean Kelly**, from the **European People’s Party group**, on my Twitch channel. I will ask him about his EU political experience, his priorities, but also asking some of your questions and those of the audience.

Sean Kelly has been a MEP since 2009. He’s a member of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy and he’s a substitute in the Committee on International Trade and the Committee on Constitutional Affairs.

These interview are made for you !** Our guest will explain what they stand for and why, share their expertise, you ask them your questions on EU politics (we won’t cover national politics unless it is linked to the EU) and then we debrief everything together and I answer whatever extra questions you may have !

Priority will be given to questions related to the MEP’s field of competence (committees), EU news/the state of Europe and EU-Irish politics. But feel free to ask other questions, if they are interesting/relevant I may pick them as well 🙂

  2. I have two questions that could be good.

    1. What have you and your fellow Fine Gael/EPP MEPs actually done to help ever since you all voted against the stepping up and enhancement of rescue operations for refugees/migrants/asylum seekers boats that are in trouble in the Mediterranean where people are still dying?

    2. Do you have any comment surrounding the alleged corruption within the EPP?

    Edit: I feel like legally he probably can’t say anything about the EPP corruption case or at least that’s what he’ll say, but might as well take 5 seconds to ask even if it is just a straight up I can’t answer.

    But the first question is easily answerable. Either they’ve done something or they haven’t.

    What do you think of the evolution of Gaelic Football into a possession slow paced game, and if you were still president of the GAA what would you do to make the sport watchable again?

  6. His party grouping EPP gave support to Fidez and Hungary’s Orban for years. What principles does he, Sean Kelly, represent in terms of democracy, free press and fundamental rights in light of that position once held. Is there anyone else in the European family who represents a threat to those values such as in Poland?
