New arrival here! Feel free to remove post if it somehow clashes with the rules/if this subreddit is not appropriate for the question.

I’ll be going to Hemsedal during the summer and wanted to bring my newly acquired Dji mini 3 pro. My main concern though is if I’m allowed to fly in the area. I am ofcourse aware of the no-fly zones and restricted zones (embassys, police/military, nature reserves and much more)+drone aviation rules, but I can’t for the love of god figure out if danger areas/regulated airspaces are okay to fly in, if there isn’t currently a NOTAM warning.

I’ve had a short correspondence with personel from luftfartstilsynet.no, but they haven’t been able to give me any information except for the fact that it MAY impact drone flying in the area.
So if anyone has any information/experience with drones in Norway I’d appreciate the feedback!

  1. Maybe one of the reasons why there are special zones in Hemsedal in particular is because they have a lot of paragliding activity. It is the main location for Oslo Paragliding Club.

  2. At least no NLOS. As there are a lot of HEMS flights in the area. There is an air ambulance at ÅL/Torpomoen.
And I think there is a 300-foot hight limitation.
