It looks carved, you should send pics the the museum of archaeology to see if it’s important
It looks to me like Sandstone. It forms in layers and that is what’s causing the “spiral” patern. It’s an oval lump probably broke off some strata and wear and tear made it oval like a big pebble. That would be my best guess.
