I thought he might be injured at first, but he just posed for the picture and then flew away

  1. Get some meal woman’s in a pet shop and some time and he will feed of ur hand , no sudden movement are the best

  2. Apparently robins in Ireland and the UK are less afraid of humans due to them being considered the Gardeners friend in these parts of the world, compared to elsewhere where they’re considered a pest.

  3. Robins are incredibly friendly, will often come right up to you and sit beside you particularly when you’re working in the garden

  4. A lot of people believe that Robins are messenger birds; they are the eyes for spirits so a deceased loved one can check in on you. I don’t know how it started or became a thing but I also remember seeing Robins shortly after my grandad passed away that would also land near me for a while.

Whether you believe it or not: I think it’s a nice thing to look for. It reminds you that – though your loved one is gone they are still with you in your mind and heart.

  5. Robins are remarkably chill birds. They are on of my favourites to photograph! Especially since I learned to mimic their calls they get even closer to me 😂

  6. Beautiful! Robins are actually quite territorial. It’s less about coming up to you because they’re friendly and more about them wanting to know what the fuck you’re doing in their gaff. You can however sometimes tame them with mealworms. They’re fearless little things.

  7. My mam has some birds that fly down to her in her back. She feeds them sultanas and they sometimes come in. But god forbid the starlings come near them
