That stuff would be useless when dried, big brown fluffy sods, burn away in no time. Far too much fibre in it. Bog must be very dry, never seen anyone cut turf like that before.

I like how most of the comments in the original post are “this is used for flavouring whiskey” and my first thought was “this is for heating an uninsulated bungalow”.
