  9. I know of a case like this in Brussels where a guy jumped in front of a car, and when the car stopped and the driver stepped out, a second person simply stole the car.

    So not necessarily insurance fraud, and don’t get out of the car if it happens to you.

  13. Don’t have my drivers licence yet but from the second I drive a car there will be a dashcam in there. Not only bc of cases like this, but I’ve heard so many people tell their story about a minor accident which people tried to sue them for. Like suddenly the other car has a major problem or the discovered they do have an injury suddenly, it’s way too common that people try to make money out of a small accident.

  15. I feel like you could have hit him and not be responsible, you have it all on cam, and he literally jumped right in front of the car, you were watching the road, not the people on the sidewalk, as there is no reasonable suspicion for them to walk across the moment you pass by

From what I understand, dash cams or other cameras aren’t typically considered as solid proof or evidence unless there is a visible indication that the recording is taking place or the people involved are aware of being recorded. The man in the video appears quite abnormal, possibly under the influence of some sort of drugs.

    Hilarious, even if he gets ran over he won’t get millions of payout.

    I know people who genuinely got hit by a car and got as much as 4K for their medical fees + lost money from not working because that’s all it costed and it took *years* for them to get this money.

  22. This happened to me in Brussels as well. I was near the old Citroen building, i Was driving 40/h and a dude deliberately jumped on my car and he had a buddy with him. I got out the car with my friends and we started screaming at them but they both ran away. My car had a big dent on it which leave me questioning what the fuck happened to the man, i called the police and there was some witnesses who told them the same thing. It’s been exactly a year now and well of course nothing came up, I wasn’t expecting anything anyway, I just called the police to prevent the dude from going to a police station and change the narrative

  28. Had a motorbike try this on me, had 6 eyewitnesses see him take a dive and hurt himself and his bike
    0 scratch or touch on my car as I always keep adjusted speed and distance 🫣
    He wanted cash money, but he left with a dented ego and dented bike.

  30. Usually there is another one on the lookout to smash your passenger windows out and grab whatever is on your seat. Ask me how I know.

  31. Its just a crazy dude, because he even is in the wrong. There is no crossroad. + in Belgium you would only get what you need to compensate medical bills. It’s would be just plain dumb to do such a thing.

    For ppl asking why, it’s not insurance fraud as those ppl even doesn’t have a mutuel, it’s a trick to steal your car 🤦🏻‍♂️
