7. For people being scared that a tarantula will harm them, to my knowledge the only things that could seriously harm you in Cyprus are the snakes and scorpion. Although i have only seen a scorpion twice and i was deliberately looking for them. As for a tarantula i have never seen one and i have spend quite a lot of time outdoors.

8. Besides viper snake there is no other animal or insect in Cyprus that can threaten your health. Relax.

9. Someone’s exotic pet has escaped. These are not native to Cyprus.

   Edit: Cyprus indeed has native species of Tarantulas.

11. I KILLED ONE 2 WEEKS AGO. It got into my store and i used a broom and my golf skills amd yeeted it out. Its the 3rd time i hear about a tarantula in the span of 2 weeks and now i have fears tbh

16. Calm down, ive lived in 🇦🇺 Australia. That’s a tiny bloody spider mate. There’s bird eating spider’s there and yes I’ve seen them.

17. I’m going to Cyprus soon. Are there a lot of jelly fish that sting? Will go to the beach, hope I don’t encounter one

18. I’ve seen them near Paphos before, nearly stood on one leaving a restaurant one night. I honestly couldn’t believe it, didn’t know Cyprus had them. Would have thought the cats would have got them all.

19. I saw a black and white coloured spider about this size. I was scared to death.
