I’m surprised there’s only 820,706 license holders in Dublin for some reason.
Donegal doesn’t come as a surprise. Despite having mental drivers, I can’t remember when I last saw a guard or a speed van.
No offense to Donegal, but I find it very very hard to believe that that 11.5% has any relation to the driving standards in that county. It may be a reflection of the policing standards [*cough* Morris Tribunal *cough*], but not much else.
Wonder if there’s any relation between how likely someone is to be flashed for a speed van? Some people always do it and others never do it
Not really surprising that the Midlands and commuter counties would have the highest per-capita numbers, I suppose; they’d be more likely to be regularly making long trips along roads that would have more traffic patrols and speed cameras.
